The Future of Training POC showcased how augmented reality (AR) can elevate traditional 2D instruction in a football playbook into a more engaging and immersive 3D format.

Project Highlights

  • Integrated Local Multiplayer functionality for session management by a moderator, allowing for user participation and collaboration.
  • Developed both tabletop and life-size modes for nuanced play review, offering flexibility in how plays are studied and practiced.
  • Enabled a comprehensive Single-Player mode with gesture control interaction, allowing users to engage with the training material independently.
  • Created an autonomous 'demo mode', processed through the Current Cloud Rendering SDK, demonstrating the future potential of AR in training environments.
